This is what happens when we win, and then march back home and go back to doing whatever it was that got us into the mess in the first place. The South did rise again. Instead of simply bowing their backs and knuckling under, they began a long range planning process. I should hasten to point out that I'm not speaking of the average working man and woman in the South, but rather, the Old Southern Ruling Class.
Are they winning? Just go to Mississippi or Arkansas and look around. There you will see the America of the future.
The rich shall become richer, and the poor shall become poorer.
And now, if you will all please turn to page 175 in your Hymnals, we will sing, "We shall overcome".
