from today's LuvNews, Jan. 29, 2015

Below is a clip from today's LuvNews. It reminded me of a report
earlier this morning about the lack of low income housing in the King
County(Seattle) area. Some 2,500 vouchers are up for grabs, but about
25,000 applicants have filed requests. That means about 22,500
applicants will continue struggling. Many are families with young
children. Perhaps we more fortunate folk can go out today and tell
these little children about our wonderful land of the free, and about
our economic recovery.

ASK A HUNGRY CHILD ABOUT THE RECOVERY

"Here's more evidence that the economic recovery isn't benefiting the
people who need it most: One in 5 American kids got food stamps in
2014, up from
1 in 8 before the recession" begins
a piece at HuffPost
this morning.

Corporate media keep referring to an "economic recovery," apparently
because the billionaires are doubling their wealth at a record pace.
The purpose
of our government is increasingly to transfer more wealth to the super
rich, at any cost to all others.
