Just letting my thoughts roam on a snowy cold Sunday

It seems to me that far too often we working class Americans get our
fantasy world caught up in the real world.
This is no accident. We're schmoozed and shined by our Ruling Class.
And we are made to look with suspicion on those who act, think or look
different than we do. And through it all, there is dangled before us
a fantasy that if we do everything right, and our luck holds, we just
might rise like fine cream, to the top of the bottle. It's bogus.
Under Capitalism there is no such thing as, "Equal Opportunity". But
the Ruling Class continues to peddle that line.
Below is more of my thoughts which I posted to another group of long
suffering folk.

Smarter is not a word I'd assign to Donald Trump.  Cunning.  Crafty.
Brazen.  Bald Face Liar.  But not Smarter.  Donald Trump is the face
of Capitalism.  He grew up wrapped in all the nuances of double
dealing, conniving sneaky backroom dealing, lie swapping and all the
other "normal" activities that are part of the normal life of a
budding Capitalist.
We Working Class Folk were raised to believe that we play fair, that
we should turn the other cheek, that Love conquers All, that Right
makes Might, that a good deed will be returned ten fold.
That's our world. But the world According to Donald Trump is as
strange as a walk
on the Moon.  It looks familiar, but nothing makes sense.
Think of suddenly being at a Soccer game.  You know that this is some
sort of a team event.  Players charge up and down the field.  Fans
cheer and go nuts.  It's all sort of familiar, but totally strange.
That's because you don't know the rules.  Donald Trump and his kind
play by different rules.  Often times they make up rules on the spur
of the moment, replacing them at will, as conditions require.  We are
not in the presence of genius.  We are simply on a different playing
field.  Our game rules do not apply.  Not if we want to win.  And the
worst part of it all is that we have sent some fairly decent, honest
men and women out to do battle with the Trumpsters and their Ilk,
using our game rules.  And what happens?  The Ralph Nader's and the
Bernie Sanders are destroyed.  The Obama's and the Clinton's survive
because they learned to play by the Capitalists Rules, which included
selling out their own people.
If we fool ourselves into thinking we can play their game and win, we
are joining the ranks of those "Suckers born every minute", and we'll
be ground under their Alligator Skin Boots.  Democracy and Capitalism
cannot exist side by side.  We want to believe that we can control it,
but if you check it out you will find that Capitalists can't control
it either.
Capitalism is a Pyramid structure.  It depends on the masses at the
bottom in order for a few to live on the top.  The very structure
prevents equal opportunity.  All of those who work hard and live good
honest lives will never reach the top.  Nor even anywhere near the
top.
And that is just the structure.  We still have the "Human Factor" to
deal with.  And worst of all, Capitalism is the perfect breeding
ground for "Greed"!
