From that day back in 1492, when Columbus took home some of the New
World's natives, Racism has been a part of our American Culture.
While we recognize the blatant racism practiced by White People toward
their Black Slaves, we ignore or pass over the slaughter of Native
People who had occupied the Land long before it was, "Discovered" by
Columbus. This "discovery" continued from East to West, and now
continues across the Planet. Like the Romans discovering Europe and
Briton, or the Jews discovering back in 1948, that their "Promised
Land" was waiting for them to re-discover it.
But anyway, most Americans are in deep denial regarding the fact that
we are, and always have been a Racist Nation. But then, we believe
all sorts of Fairy Tales. Like, we are a democracy. Or, we go about
the world supporting democracy. Or, we are a nation of Peace Makers,
led by our Prince of Peace.
And remember, Racism does not need to be a Black and White issue.
During the years following World War II, when we finished hugging our
new Soviet Union brothers, we quickly realized that the Russians were
out to "get us". Russians were all labelled Commies, and anyone
supporting them were Pinkos or Fellow Travelers. It was not the color
of their skin which caused our Racist behavior, it was their Atheistic
beliefs and their Marxist philosophy that frightened our own Ruling
Class. Over our history we have hated Jews, a people hard to tell
apart from us White Folk, and we have turned on our imported Chinese
laborers when we no longer needed them. We even mocked our Irish
immigrants and don't forget all our really funny Polish and
Scandinavian put-down jokes.
In fact, it is a Macho, White Male society. And anyone not coming
under that label, or being accepted, along with being a Christian,
anyone else is fair game. Women, children and elderly.
And why do we continue to hold to this Racist agenda? Well, take a
hard look at our 1% Ruling Class.
