Re: [blind-democracy] If Islamic State Had Burned Down Four Churches, It Would Have Been Headline News

As a nation, we're in denial. We genteel White Folk huddle behind our
gated grounds and tremble over those violent Blacks. Why, we've all
heard how they go about raping and plundering. As far as we White
Folk are concerned, there are not enough prisons to hold them all.
But let a white boy gun down a few Blacks in a Black Church and we
shake our genteel White heads and say, "He's an insane maverick". And
when 7(seven) Black Churches are burned, we shake our White Genteel
Heads and say, "Freak of nature."
And if one(1) White genteel church were to be torched? We don't have
to look beyond our borders to know prejudice when we smell the smoke.
In previous posts we talked about the confederacy losing the war. But
the fact is that the North merely forced the South to remain in the
Union. The real losers were not the White Upper Class Southerners.
The losers were, and still are, the Blacks. The Slaves who were
"given" their freedom. Turned loose to fend for themselves. And the
White Ruling Class did, and still does, everything it could do to keep
them oppressed. To my way of thinking, it is amazing that Black
Americans have fared as well as they have. Would White People have
survived generations of slavery and oppression as well?
The smoke rising from those burning Black Churches reminds me of the
one gift the White Man gave to the Black Man. God. The White Man's
God was shared with the Black Man. The two-edged sword of Faith. Now
the Black Man had the hope of a better life in the hereafter. No, not
the White Man's Heaven, but something akin to Green Pastures. Sort of
an Amos and Andy world.
And as the smoke rises toward that far off Heaven, the White man
continues to believe in his superiority, and huddles in fear of the
animal nature of the Black man. And the Black Man continues to build
his churches and gather to sing and clap and praise the White Man's
God. It can't last. Even the mighty Roman Empire crumbled of its
own corruption.
What will historians in the distant future make of our foolishness?
If we have any distant future.
