Even as the first A Bomb destroyed a city and over 140 Souls, a ten
year old boy in Seattle, Washington State clung to his belief that his
America was a Land of Peace and Love, killing only those who it must
destroy in o order to protect Freedom around the World. What a
difference between my ten year old, insulated and defused view of my
nation, compared to that of all those ten year old Japanese
children...the ones who survived the horror.

On August 6, 1945, the US dropped the atomic bomb on Hiroshima,
killing about 140,000 by the end of the year,
out of the 350,000 who lived in the city. Three days later, a second
atomic bomb was dropped on Nagasaki. (killing an estimated 80
thousand)
