FLASH: Stein and Honkala arrested in protest of foreclosure giant Fannie Mae

Subject: Re: FLASH: Stein and Honkala arrested in protest of foreclosure giant Fannie Mae

Bob and All Believers in Taking Charge,
Thanks for caring, but remember that what I described is just a cross section that many American families are now going through.
During the Great Depression we heard folks say, "I've failed to work hard enough", or they blamed bad luck.  Others viewed them as losers and n'er do wells.
While I do still hear some of this type of thinking today, most people now understand that they are victims of the Ruling Class.  They may not put it in exactly those words, but they know full good and well that they were playing by the rules when the rules got changed.
The fact is that my family is doing just fine.  We come from Working Class People, Farmers and Miners and Factory Workers.  We gather some personal possessions about us, but we have taught our children that such trappings are not them.  Who they are is what is inside their heads.  Take away all the material stuff and we just pick up and begin again, doing with what we have.
I feel saddest for those folks I know who are so tied to their possessions that they go into deep depression and simply give up when they lose them.
Until we remove the yoke from our Working Class necks, we will be in for hard times.  But let's quit being victims and blaming others, including the Ruling
Class.  We are responsible for our own selves.  The Ruling Class rules because we allow it to rule.  Once enough of us understand this, they will be moved aside.  Maybe it will be for the better, and perhaps not.  But it will be a new beginning, and we will have the chance to take charge of our lives.

Hi carl,
Wow! that really stinks losing all that property value to the practitioners
of financial chicanery who have done a marvelous job driving our economy
into a ditch for most of us. I was just imagining how many Americans are in
your shoes and how angry they must all be. Sounds like a crop of willing
folks to educate as to how we got to where we are and how we might make
things better. IF only we could get our progressive message out amid the
corporatist and conservative talk radio media megaphones that will be our
undoing if we can't figure out how to get our message out.
It really burns me that folks like you and Kathy who are out there
performing a most valuable service get jerked around not only by VR services
but also by this rotten economy.
