Wikileaks' Julian Assange Fires Back at His Critics

Julian Assange is being dragged about like some sort of human red herring.  I do not want to debate his character any more than I cared if David, God's favorite son,  sent his best friend to his death so he could jump the bones of his friends wife.
We get all hung up in the gossip.  And that is not by accident.  As long as Julian is twisting in the wind we will not be so apt to ask hard questions regarding his mission.
As you all should know by now, we are in a Class War.  This is not a deep, dark conspiracy as some folks accuse us of promoting.  It is Class War.  And right now we, the working/Middle Class are losing.
The Ruling Class has been hard at work for years, undermining what we believed was "the American Way of Life".  They have introduced lies and confusion into our thinking.  Their Media plays with us as did the carnival slight of hand artist, moving the shells this way and that always leading us in the wrong direction.
Until Working and Middle Class Americans accept the basic premise that we are indeed in a Class Struggle, and that we do have a Ruling Class(Empire Builders), we will continue to wring our hands and try to figure out under which shell our pea of happiness is hidden.

I certainly agree and it appears the next release scheduled strikes right at the heart of the beast with releases of information about global fraud in the pseudo-banking industry.  Now, this fellow might have all sorts of sordid motives and all sorts of skeletons in his closet. But, that does not take away from the materials released. It is, to me very much like the Elliott Spitzer situation which Miriam often points out. Sure, Spitzer was  a hypocrite in his personal lifestyle which, of course made him vulnerable. However, it shouldn't distract us from the good works and efforts to go after Wall Street on civil and criminal grounds.

There are very few saints in this world. That does not exonerate any real wrongdoing by any whistle blowers, but I think folks get my point. Bigger wrong doers are generally behind the pointed fingers.

In this instance we saw releases that related to rape, plunder and murder of nations. I ask even if allegations are one hundred percent true, which I'm certain they are not which are the greater crimes?

You know one wiki leaks release for example showed the murder of Afgan civilians without so much as a "I'm sorry."

This said I do share some reservations about release of some personal information of accused that was done in France. But, on the whole wiki leaks has done some fine work.
