Lighting a candle inside a darkened mind.
Somehow we get the idea that if we just lay out the facts, folks will open their minds and embrace us. In fact, we Radicals are very much in the minority. And, like trying to open the sighted worlds eyes to our abilities as blind people, it is a near impossible task.
So why do we do it?
Simple. We do it in order to find those other pearls out there in the Hog Wallow.
And we do it to test our own beliefs and to help one another to explore new horizons. But we need to get past this idea that we're going to light a candle in the blackness of other peoples closed minds.
