some thoughts on yesterday's demo convention

Subject: some thoughts on yesterday's demo convention

Too bad the Democratic Party doesn't have as wide a difference from the Republicans in international policies as they do in their national platform.
Yesterday's presenters were actually tuned into American People issues.
Sandra Fluke was impressive, demonstrating that one young person can make a difference.  Lilly Ledbetter proved that determination can also make a difference.  Katherine Warren's speech is well worth hunting down and listening to.
And of course Bill Clinton was "folksy old Bill".
The Democrats displayed a parade of homeland issues that showcase the difference between the two sides of the Empire's Party.
But the Two-Headed Monster continues to present only one head to the world.
Should we just turn our heads, hold our noses and mark the ballot for Obama?  Or do we run the risk of losing so much at home in order to tell the world that we do not support our Evil Empire.
