from Mostafa: Christian concerns.

Mostafa,
My answers will not sit well with you, but here, in part  is what I think.
Religion was the creation of Man, in an attempt to make sense out of something so vast that it was both frightening and unexplainable.
By concocting an All Powerful, Perfect Being, we could hand over all of our fears and uncertainties to Him.
When things happened, like massive floods or earthquakes, we knew that our All Powerful One knew the reasons, and had a Master Plan that was beyond our understanding.
Many of our folk stories were brought into this collection of beliefs.  We knew that we came from somewhere, so it must have been that our All Mighty One had created us.
And the beauty of stories is that they can be told without worrying if they match up with other stories.  So we have Adam and Eve, she being born from one of his ribs.  They have two sons, Cain and Able.  Cain and Able go off to the Land of Nod where they take unto them wives.  Sure they did!  And where did these wives come from if the first two people created were Adam and Eve?  Oh well, The All Mighty One has the answer, and probably I just don't understand the mystery of it all.
After falling from Grace, Adam and Eve were locked out of their home, the Garden of Eden.  How was it that this Perfect One who knew the beginning and the end, and told us in His Word that He could not look upon imperfection, how was it that He allowed these people to be tempted?  He knew just how vulnerable they were to that Serpent.  And what about Lucifer, the Serpent?  Created by the All Powerful One as one of His most perfect Arc Angels, knowing that He was creating something that would not be perfect, and would turn on Him?  What sort of sense does that make?  Either the All Mighty is perfect, or He is not.  He can't be both.  Since He created the Heavens and the Earth, then He created imperfection.
But anyway, thousands of years pass, with some very disturbing stories passed down in the Holy Books.  Suddenly, according to His mysterious calendar, He plunks a seed in the belly of a young Virgin and brings forth a perfect Son.  Well, we can see just how well he did with His first two creations.  But Jesus is here to die for our sins.  Because The Perfect One gave us free will, along with Satan, who had more power on earth than most men could stand up to.
Remember that little story about God and Satan gambling on whether Job would remain God's faithful servant, or curse Him and go to Hell?
Anyway Mostafa, it doesn't matter what name you or I give this Creator.  We made Him up.  We brought a bunch of our folk tales together in our Holy Books and proclaimed them to be, "The Word".
Because you, and all believers have this built in fear of challenging God/Allah/Jehovah for fear of being denied eternal life, just for questioning Him, the stories go on and we build up piles of writings explaining the Religions that we have created.
Man believes that God is his salvation.  In fact, God may well be our undoing.

Subject: [acb-chat] Christian concerns.

Dear all, upon you be peace and blessings. My queries today are related to Christian doctrine of original sin. I will be explicitly specific and precise. My first question is; Why trinity wasn't initially bestowed to save Adam and Eav?
According to Christian doctrinal tenet, Jesus sacrificed to save the humanity from its sinful origin. Well but, Jesus was born from a human being who is unremarkably sinful. That's according to Christian faith. So, how can he that be?
My third question is, God glory be to Him is eternal, while Jesus obviously had a beginning. So how we can possibly involve them into one single entity while their nature and essence are clearly different. I am consistent by hobby and since ever I was taught how to think. Read my questions quite carefully. Comprehend about them. Revive your rational desire. Try to make statements that makes sense if you intend to answer me. And ultimately, I look forward to hearing from you. Mostafa.
