pc language and offensiveness

As a minority, we blind people can learn much from the strong spokesmen/women of other minorities.
Paul Robeson understood the many ways mainstream America used to keep Blacks "in their place".  Just as we blind people understand what pressures come into play whenever we attempt to take our place in the Sun.
Paul Robeson, Martin Luther King, Jr. and so many other Black Americans spoke out against the prejudice and bigotry which still exists in our nation, and paid dearly for their steadfast adherence to their beliefs.
Where are our Blind Heroes?
Too often we blind people, like many of our counterparts in other minority groups, accept  the prevailing beliefs about these great leaders, when we should be studying their speeches and writings and determining for ourselves how it fits with where we are.
Anyway, I consider Paul Robeson an American Patriot.
Interested readers should Google his biography and take time to listen to some of his speeches.
