To all lovers of fat ladies singing. 

 

In fact, the Massachusetts "upset" election of Scott Brown,  is meaningless.  It is a win/win situation for the forces in power(Empire Builders).  As long as the people are kept busy running about like Chicken Little, trying to shore up the crumbling system, the Ruling Class will remain secure and free to go about their business of raping and plundering the world's resources. 

From my perspective, Fascism is already snaking its tentacles around our democratic institutions. 

While there are similarities between the 30's Great Depression and today's "Pretty Good recession", there are also very disturbing differences.  First and foremost Obama is no FDR.  Roosevelt understood how close the nation was to a mass uprising, even the potential of a revolution.  He took measures that literally saved the skins of the Captains of Industry, who thanked him by relentlessly attacking FDR, Eleanor and even their little dog Falla. 

Obama is, as was Roosevelt, a strong campaigner.  Both connected with the public.  And that pretty much sums up their similarities. 

Roosevelt made things happen.  Obama is the eternal compromiser, even compromising his own compromises.  If Roosevelt cut deals with the powerful we never knew it.  Obama is absolutely clumsy in his eagerness to pacify Wall Street, Madison Avenue and the Military. 

Roosevelt faced a potential uprising from the Left.  Unions and, Heaven help us, Socialists and Communists were beginning to mass together. 

Obama is being torn apart from the Right.  He seems not to have a clue that his inability to make decisive policies and to take strong stands are feeding right into the eager hands of Fascists.  Obama, through his inability to lead, is opening the doors to the real threat to our freedom.
