Don't help good doctors go bad

Medical doctors should never be allowed to run for office.
Going into an election they have the unfair advantage of being the "Man in White".  We seem to go gah gah when we see a doctor's name on our ballot.  After all, doctors are wise and caring.  But we forget that they have spent most of their adult lives in a very narrow discipline.  And even worse, they are trained to be elitists.  Many have the expectation that they have earned the right to live higher up the economic ladder than the average working slob.
Fortunately Doctor Rand Paul made a serious blunder.  Instead of just saying, "Hmm...", he actually tried to talk.
