The letter I never sent.
Dear President Obama,
You just don't seem to get it. You are the Leader of the Pack. The Alpha Guy. You are supposed to declare a strong position. You paw the earth, snort and lower your head. Then instead of charging, you send in your people to negotiate a compromise, if that were all the better you could get, fine. But you'll never know, if you keep jumping the gun and rushing in to try and be the Big Compromiser.
For God's Sake, Mister Obama, lead us!
You were awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. Do you recall a fellow who was called, "The Prince of Peace?" He had no problem standing up for what he believed in. He tossed the money lenders out of the Temple. You sent them away, too. But your method was to pass out huge buckets of tax dollars. He healed the sick and fed the hungry. You compromise away any chance of health reform and proclaim that you understand the plight of the poor.
Mister President, if you plan to return to the Office in 2012, you had better hope Sarah Palin is your opponent. She will be your only hope.
