As I recall from my history books we were taught that the first settlers on the shores of this great land were Christians who were persecuted because of their beliefs. Finally they had the opportunity to build a land of freedom for all. All who believed just as they did, that is. So down the shore a way, some other persecuted Christians came ashore. Their beliefs were just a wee bit different than the guys up the beach. So they began yelling at each other. But even so, where did they let their Christian Nation get away from them? Did they get too busy butchering Indians and grabbing up all the Land? Did they allow non Christian Illegals to sneak into the country and wrest government away from them? I don't get it. If it was so good, where did it go wrong?
